Application for Redevelopment Waiver
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a Redevelopment Waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 3.065 acres and is located on 1515 E. Pratt Street & 227 S. Caroline Street formerly 1501 E. Pratt Street, Baltimore, MD 21231. The project will consist of the demolition of existing housing buildings, sidewalks, and parking lots with grass stabilization.
The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The removal of more than 50% of existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide pavement reduction for water quality control to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 1.86 acres of impervious surface for this project.
