The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control and quantitative control waivers.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 3.68 acres and is located SE of the inter-section of Fairfield Road and Chesapeake Avenue. The project will consist of remediation of contaminated soil at 8 feet below the ground surface with a mixture of bentonite and cement. 

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code.  The Applicant has demonstrated that all 3.68 acres of the project will be returned to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for this project.
