Application for Qualitative and Quantitative Control Waiver
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control and quantitative control waivers.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 0.195 acres and is located north at the intersection of Fulton Ave and W Baltimore St. The project will consist of installation of a splash pad, micro-bioretention, hardscape and landscaping features.
The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code. The project has implemented ESD to MEP. The 0.06 ac of impervious area will be treated by micro-bioretention facility and remaining 0.04 ac of impervious area is not treated. The untreated impervious area will be covered by a fee-in-lieu payment.
AND
The Applicant has demonstrated that the project directly discharges to a closed public storm system that can accommodate the anticipated stormwater flows from the project site without downstream flooding or stream-bank erosion. The Applicant will satisfy the quantitative controls requirements for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu on-site stormwater management for 0.04 ac this project.
