Application for Qualitative Control, and Redevelopment Waiver
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control and quantitative control waivers.
Applicant: Beth Am Synagogue, 2501 Eutaw Place, Baltimore, MD 21217

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 0.529 acres and is located northeast of the intersection of Eutaw Place and Chauncey Avenue. The project will consist of a proposed one-story building for auxiliary synagogue use.
The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver.
The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code. The Applicant has demonstrated that on-site water quality control is not practicable. The Applicant will satisfy the water quality controls for this project by payment of a fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for 0.039 ac of this project.
