Application for Qualitative and Quantitative Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a variance of Stormwater Management.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 0.31 acres and is located at the westerly side Schenley Road and the easterly side of Maynadier Lane. The project consists of new development for construction of three (3) townhouses, parking pads, concrete walks and utility infrastructure.  

The Applicant is requesting a variance in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-4 of the City Code for approximately 0.079 acres of this project. The Applicant has demonstrated that due to practical hardships, they cannot install any applicable BMP’s and will therefore be providing a Fee-in-Lieu to address both the qualitative and quantitative control for the 0.079 acres of impervious area associated with this project. The remaining impervious area will be addressed by impervious reduction with the installation of reinforced turf parking pads.
