The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 1.29 acres and is located 500’ east of the intersection of North Charles Street and East Cold Spring Lane and 800’ southwest of the intersection of North Charles Street and Wyndhurst Avenue. The project will consist of a new 9,000 SF Behavioral Sciences Building addition to the existing Beatty Hall.
The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide water quality controls, to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 1.29 ac of this project.
