The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control waiver.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 1.94 acres and is located along various roads and intersections thereof:  Benton Heights Ave., Granite Ave., Raspe Ave., Glenmore Ave., Kolb Ave., Bel Air Road, Mary Ave. and Fleetwood Ave. The project will consist of cleaning and lining an existing 20-inch water main along with small diameter water main replacements/relocations, including the replacement of various size valves, fire hydrants, renewal of water service connection, installation of temporary bypass piping and temporary water services and the clean-up and restoration of the construction area.

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code.  The Applicant has demonstrated that the 1.94 ac of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for 1.94 ac of this project.
