The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control waiver.

Project Description:  The project has an approximate area of 3.88 acres and is located on the indicated blocks of the following roads and intersections thereof:  400 Block Tyson St., 500 Block Ploy St., 100 & 200 Block W. Franklin St., 500 E. Franklin St., 100 Block W. Pleasant St., 500 Block Lovegrove St., 600 Block E. Centre St., 100 & 300 Block E. Pleasant St.,100 – 400 Block N. Charles St., 300 – 500 Block N. Calvert St., 200 & 300 Block Davis St., 200 & 300 Block E. Saratoga St., 200 Block Holliday St., 200 Block Dark Ln., 100 & 200 Block Saint Paul Pl., 100 & 200 Block Saint Paul St., 100 Block E. Lexington St. and the 100 Block of E. Fayette St. The project will consist of approximately 12,200 LF of small water main replacements, including the replacement of various sized valves and fire hydrants.

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code.  The Applicant has demonstrated that the 3.88 acres of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative controls for 3.88 acres of this project.
