Application for Redevelopment Waiver
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 0.3 acres and is located at 6200 Loch Raven Boulevard between Gittings Ave and Walker Ave. The project will consist of partial impervious removal within the existing parking lot and installation of a rain garden and a microbioretention area, as stormwater management features.
The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide water quality controls and impervious area reduction to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.13 ac of this project.
The Applicant will satisfy the water quality controls for this project by impervious reduction and installation of rain gardens and microbioretention for 0.13ac this project.
