The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 1.28 acres and is located along President Street to the west, Eastern Avenue to the north, Albemarle Street to the east and Fleet Street to the south. The project will include a multi-story mixed use commercial and residential building with parking garage. 

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver.  The project will provide water quality controls to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.07 ac of this project. 

AND

The Applicant will satisfy the remaining water quality controls for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for approximately 0.57 ac of this project.
