Application for Redevelopment Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 5.9 acres and is located along Kelly Avenue between of the Bonnie View Drive and Lochlea Road, and along Cross Country Boulevard between Chilham Rd. and Kelly Avenue. The project will consist of stream restoration, stream bank stabilization, stormwater outfall repair, and sanitary sewer relocation and protection. 

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver.  The project is considered maintenance and will provide water quality improvements and impervious area offsets to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 5.9 ac of this project.
