Application for Redevelopment Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 4.55 acres and includes improvements to St. Paul Street bound by University Parkway on the north and 31^st Street on the south; as well as 33^rd Street bound by Charles Street on the west and St. Paul Street on the east. The project consists of roadway improvements, new curb and gutter and realigning lanes to accommodate pedestrians and bicyclists.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide a fee-in-lieu to satisfy the requirements for this waiver for 0.535 acre of this project.
