Application for Qualitative and Quantitative Control Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control and quantitative control waivers.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 0.731 acres and is located west of the intersection of Fallstaff Road and Park Height Avenue. The project will consist of renovation of an existing fire damaged building, including upgrading to current fire safety and accessibility standards. The associated parking lot will be restriped.

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code.  The Applicant has demonstrated that on-site water quality control is not practicable. The Applicant will satisfy the water quality controls for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for 0.074 ac of this project.

AND

The Applicant has demonstrated that 0.009 ac of the project directly discharges to a public storm system that can accommodate the anticipated stormwater flows from the project site without downstream flooding or stream-bank erosion. The Applicant will satisfy the quantitative controls requirements for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for 0.009 ac of this project.
