Application for Redevelopment Waiver: Point Street Apartments & Garage

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 2.25 acres and is located to the southwest at the intersection of Thames Street and South Caroline Street. The project will consist of multi-use 17 story building with residential and retail uses. There will be road improvement (Point Street), parking garage, plaza, including utility improvements and connections.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide two (2) storm filters and a green roof to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.96 ac of this project.
