The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: |
The project has an approximate area of 2.0 acres and is located between the intersection of Light Street and East Conway Street and the intersection of Light Street and East Barre Street.. The project will consist of the excavation of a portion of the site to remove existing building foundation pile caps, installation of new foundation pile caps and caissons, backfilling and seeding of the disturbed area with permanent seeding. The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide impervious area reduction to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 2.0 ac this project.
