The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a variance of Stormwater Management.

Project Description:

The approximately 0.73 acre project is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Rayner Avenue and Dukeland Street in the Mosher neighborhood of western Baltimore City. The project consists of redeveloping the existing historic building and construction of access driveways, a parking lot, concrete equipment pads, utility infrastructure and a bioretention facility and underground stormwater management structure for a high performance research computing facility.

The Applicant is requesting a variance in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-4 of the City Code for approximately 0.044 acres of this project. The Applicant has demonstrated that 0.402 acres of the project will have water quality and quantity control provided. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control for 0.044 acres of impervious area associated with this project which is unable to be drained to the SWM facilities.
