Application for Redevelopment Waiver: Whitehall Cotton Mill

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 5.27 acres and is located approximately 2,000 feet south of the intersection of Clipper Mill Road and Union Avenue. The project will consist of the renovation of an existing mill building and some parking additions to the existing parking areas.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide water quality controls and impervious area reduction to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.35ac of this project.
