Application for Redevelopment Waiver: 200 N. DUNCAN STREET PARKING

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver.

Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 0.17 acres and is located northeast of the intersection of East Fayette Street and North Duncan Street. The purpose of the project is to construct parking along N Duncan Street at the demolished building site owned by the City of Baltimore. The proposed work consists of construction of asphalt pavement for parking and a sidewalk around the proposed parking that will connect existing sidewalk on either ends of the project. This project will provide seven parking spaces for passenger cars, a rain garden, and landscaping.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide water quality control through the use of a rain garden to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.17 acres of this project.
