The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control and quantitative control waivers.

Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 1.04 acres and is located in multiple sites within urban and suburban areas, mostly roadways and public right-of-ways, within Basins LL17, LL19, LL30, and LL34. The project will consist of rehabilitation of approximately 90,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipe and 600 sanitary sewer manholes. The work includes cured in place pipe lining of existing sewer mains, excavated point repairs, pipe replacement, and manhole rehabilitation. All disturbed areas will be restored in kind.

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code. The Applicant has demonstrated that the 1.04 ac of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for 1.09 ac of this project.
