Application for Qualitative Control Waiver: Pennington Avenue & Vicinity Area Water Main Relocation & Replacement

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control waiver.

Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 2.11 acres and is located in the street in the blocks of 5200 to 5500 Pennington Avenue, 1500 Aspen Street, and 1500 Benhill Avenue. The project will consist of water main replacements or relocations in the street and a few replaced water house connections from the street to the meter only.

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code. The Applicant has demonstrated that the 10.92 ac of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for 10.92 ac of this project.
