The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control waiver.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 0.17 acres and is located within the public road Right-of-Way starting on Haines St. southeast of the intersection of Haines St and Russell St, and running along Russell St. to Worcester St. and southeast down Worcester St . The project will consist of the installation of a 24” Gas Line below the paved road surface, to connect with an existing gas line at either end. The existing line will be abandoned in place, where it runs underneath Warner St. All work will take place on paved surfaces, which shall be returned to paved surfaces upon completion.

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code.  The Applicant has demonstrated that the entirety of the 0.17 ac of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for this project.
