Application for Quality Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a quantitative control waiver and a qualitative control waiver. If granted, the waiver would allow construction of this project to be governed by the rules and requirements of Baltimore City’s Ordinance 10-277.

Applicant: The Baltimore Gas and Electric Company, 1699 Leadenhall St, Baltimore, MD 21230

Project Description:
Baltimore Gas & Electric Company (BGE) will replace their existing 26” cased gas pipeline under the AMTRAK Railroad located approximately 275 feet southeast of the intersection of West Baltimore Street and South Mount Olivet Lane in Baltimore City, MD.

The Applicant is requesting a Qualitative Control Waiver in accordance with Section 23-2(1) of the City Ordinance. Since the project is a utility pipeline project, the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition.
