Application for Administrative Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a variance to the Baltimore City Stormwater Management Ordinance 10-277. The applicant must provide Stormwater management for the proposed project whether or not the waiver is granted.

Applicant: Baltimore City Public Schools, 200 East North Avenue, Room 407A, Baltimore, Maryland 21202

Project Description: The developer is proposing to undertake a field renovation at Frederick Douglass High School. The existing field will be replaced with an artificial turf system. The project meets the requirements of the 2010 Baltimore City Stormwater Management Ordinance by implementing environmental site design practices to the maximum extent practicable. The proposed development meets Environmental Site Design and Stormwater Management quality and quantity requirements with an enhanced filter.
