Application for Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a Redevelopment waiver. If granted, the waiver would allow the construction of this project to be governed by the rules and requirements of Baltimore City’s Ordinance 10-277. The applicant must provide storm water management for the proposed project whether or not the waiver is granted.

Applicant: Blue Water Baltimore, 3545 Belair Road, Baltimore, MD 21213 and Baltimore City Department of Transportation, 200 Holliday Street, Baltimore, MD 21202

Project Description: Blue Water Baltimore is working in the Butchers Hill and Patterson Park neighborhoods to install a series of pervious alleys and green curb bump-outs.

The applicant is requesting a Redevelopment Waiver in accordance with Section 23-7(C)(3) of the City Code. The Project meets the applicable requirements by reduction of impervious area of at least 50% of the site’s existing impervious area within the limits of disturbance.
