Stormwater Management Facility
ESD # 6419
Application for Quality Waiver
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a quantitative control waiver and a qualitative control waiver. If granted, the waiver would allow construction of this project to be governed by the rules and requirements of Baltimore City’s Ordinance 10-277.
Applicant: The Roland Park Country School, 15204 Roland Ave., Baltimore, MD 21210
Project Description:
The Roland Park Country School will install a stormwater management facility on the school grounds along the east side of the property. The facility will capture stormwater runoff from impervious areas while slowing the velocity of rainwater as it moves across the property and into an existing stormwater management facility. The approximate location of the facility is 630 feet east of the intersection of Roland Avenue and Deepdene Road, running parallel to the roadway on the school property for approximately 560 feet and outfalls to an unnamed tributary of the Jones Falls.
The Applicant is requesting a Qualitative Control Waiver in accordance with Section 23-2(1) of the City Ordinance. Since the project is a utility pipeline project, the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition.
