Application for Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a waiver to the Baltimore City Stormwater Management Ordinance 10-277. The applicant must provide stormwater management for the proposed project whether or not the waiver is granted.

Applicant: Reginald Exum, c/o James Mosher Associates, Inc., P.O. Box 3725, Baltimore MD 21217.

Project Description: The site in question has an area of 27,580 square feet or 0.633 acre. James Mosher Associates, Inc., is proposing to remove the existing baseball field infields and replace with a special soil mix known as infield mix and to install an irrigation for wetting down the infields before games. The project meets the requirements of the 2010 Baltimore City Stormwater Management Ordinance as a landscaping project which qualifies for a waiver from qualitative management as it will return the disturbed area to the predevelopment runoff condition with no increase in impervious area. Quantitative management will not be required with no increase in impervious area, a return to the predevelopment runoff condition, and no increase in runoff.

The Applicant is requesting a Qualitative Waiver in accordance with Article 7, Section 23-2(1) of the City Code.
