Application for Administrative Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for administrative waiver. If granted, the administrative waiver would allow construction of this project to be governed by the rules and requirements that were in place prior to the Baltimore City Council’s adoption of Ordinance 10-277 on May 3, 2010. The applicant must provide stormwater management for the proposed project whether or not the waiver is granted.

Applicant: JIT Enterprises, LLC. 3209 Fallstaff Road, Baltimore, MD 21215

Project Description: The area proposed for construction is 13,303 SF or 0.31 acres and is currently vacant. It is proposed to develop a two-story Multi-Purpose Neighborhood Center, with five parking spaces. The three spaces in the rear of the building are accessed from an 18’ wide driveway. The area in front of the building is paved to allow emergency vehicles to access Taney Road and emergency response volunteers to park in reserved spaces. The project meets the requirements of the 2010 Baltimore City Stormwater Management Ordinance by implementing environmental site design practices to the maximum extent practicable.

In order to meet the requirements of the 2010 Baltimore City SWM Ordinance for the proposed improvements, the Applicant is requesting an Administrative Waiver in accordance with Section 23-8. Preliminary/Concept approval was granted for this project April 19, 2010.
