Application for Quality and Quantity Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control waiver and a quantitative control waiver. If granted, the waiver would allow construction of this project to be governed by the rules and requirements of Baltimore City’s Ordinance 10-277.

Applicant: Housing Authority of Baltimore, 417 East Fayette Street, Suite 1339, Baltimore, MD

Project Description: The Department of Housing and Community Development is proposing to have installed electrical conduit within the Latrobe Housing Development. It is bounded by Eager Street in the north, E. Madison Street in the south, Asquith Street in the east and Homewood Avenue in the west. The total limit of disturbance is approximately 0.28 acre.

The project is redevelopment and the applicant is requesting a Quality Control Waiver in accordance with Section 23-2(1) of the City Code. Since the development is a pipeline project, the project will return the disturbed area to predevelopment runoff condition.

The Applicant is also requesting a Quantitative Control Waiver in accordance with Section 23-1(A)(2) of the City Code. The project is an underground project that will return the disturbed area to predevelopment runoff condition.
