Application for Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a Redevelopment waiver. If granted, the waiver would allow the construction of this project to be governed by the rules and requirements of to Baltimore City’s Ordinance 10-277. The applicant must provide stormwater management for the proposed project whether or not the waiver is granted.

Project Description: The Project Site has an area of 100,702 square feet or 2.31 acres. The applicant is proposing to remove an existing building which covers the majority of the site and to replace this building with an open lot. Some proposed sidewalk will be reconstructed and some new sidewalk will be construction to allow for pedestrian traffic.

The Applicant is requesting a Redevelopment Waiver in accordance with Section 23-7(C)(3) of the City Code. The project meets the applicable requirements of implementing environmental site design practices to the maximum extent practicable and by reduction of impervious area for a combined area of at least 50% of the site’s existing impervious area within the limits of disturbance.
