The Townes at Locust Point Public Notice

The Baltimore City Department of Public Works, in coordination with Locust Point, LLC, is accepting public review and comments for a request to issue a Phased Development Projects, Stormwater Management Waiver for The Townes at Locust Point project, located at the 1300 block of Decatur Street, and the 1300 and 1400 blocks of Lowman St.

Notice is hereby given that the public is invited to comment on the request by Locust Point, LLC for a stormwater quantitative and qualitative control waiver in association with their Townes at Locust Point development. The project is eligible for a Phase Development Project stormwater waiver because it meets the provisions set forth by the Baltimore City Code (dated 5/16/10), Article 7, Division II, Subtitle 23-5 (1). All four (4) proposed stormwater management systems for the project were designed and constructed by May 4, 2010, and meet the regulatory requirements for stormwater, adopted in 2000 by the Maryland Department of the Environmental, and the requirements of the Baltimore City Code.

The Townes at Locust Point development is comprised of seventy-one (71) townhome units, forty (40) of which have already been constructed.

Comments relating to this request must be received by 4:30 pm on March 22, 2010.
