UPDATE: Water Pumping Station Power Outages

Power Restored at Water Pumping Stations; residents asked to continue to conserve until 6 a.m. tomorrow

DPW and BGE crews have restored power to all of our water pumping stations that had been impacted by electrical interruptions caused by today's high winds. Because of the power disruption, various water storage facilities (tanks/towers) must be replenished.

Public Works is asking residents along the Reisterstown Road corridor including Reisterstown, Pikesville, Randallstown, Owings Mills and surrounding communities to continue to conserve until 6 a.m. tomorrow. Service should be back to normal at that time. Public Works Director Al Foxx wishes to thank all of our neighbors who have conserved during this time as well as BGE for their assistance in restoring power.

Residents in the affected area:

  • Should not use dishwashers and washing machines.
  • Should delay taking showers.
  • Should not let water run unnecessarily.

To report water main breaks/leaks Baltimore City residents should call 311. Baltimore County residents should call (410)396-5352.
