CITY HOLIDAY: Good Friday, April 15, 2022 DPW Offices, Sanitation Yards - CLOSED

Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Director Jason W. Mitchell reminds residents that Good Friday, April 15, 2022, is a City holiday.  DPW offices and sanitation yards will be CLOSED.

There will be no trash or recycling collections on Good Friday. Trash and recycling collections, normally scheduled for Friday, April 15, will be collected on the make-up day, Saturday, April 16.

DPW facilities closed on Good Friday to residents and haulers include:

  • Northwest Transfer Station, 5030 Reisterstown Road
  • Quarantine Road Landfill, 6100 Quarantine Road
  • Northwest Citizens' Convenience Center, 2840 Sisson Street
  • Southwestern Citizens’ Convenience Center, 701 Reedbird Avenue
  • Eastern Citizens’ Convenience Center, 6101 Bowleys Lane

Mitchell reminds residents that Juneteenth will be observed on, Monday, June 20, 2022, and is a City holiday. DPW offices and sanitation yards will be CLOSEDWeekly trash and recycling collections are NOT impacted by the Juneteenth closure. Monday is not a scheduled curbside trash or recycling collection day.
