As BGE continues restoring natural gas service to customers in the Carrollton Ridge and Mill Hill communities, Baltimore City also continues outreach and assistance to impacted residents.  Crews are moving quickly through 4 specific work zones. Once BGE has completed their work at citizens' residences, they leave behind a notification to let the residents know that a plumber will be visiting their homes. BGE is rapidly providing Baltimore City with a list of locations where plumbers are being dispatched to inspect and turn on appliances if they are in working condition. Plumbers are assigned specific addresses. If a customer is not home when the plumber arrives, a hang tag with the plumber’s telephone number will be left for the customer to arrange entry for the plumber.

A plumber should arrive at a home that has received a BGE notice within 24 to 48 hours.
