DPW Cautions Citizens: Beware of Impostors and Possible Scams

Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Director Rudolph S. Chow, P.E., is advising Baltimore City water customers to be aware that private entities are making the rounds to sell water filtration systems. Others are outright scams or attempts to enter your home.

DPW Reports Updated Overflow Totals on Line Damaged by Private Contractor

In late September a private contractor, working for another utility, struck a major sewer line in South Baltimore. Although the initial flow had been stopped, additional overflows, separate from, but related to the damage, started up due to heavy rainfalls. This wastewater overflowed into the Gwynns Falls, near where it enters the Middle Branch of the Patapsco River.
