Mayor Brandon M. Scott and the Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) have announced a community cleanup pilot program in partnership with the Coldstream Homestead Montebello (CHM) Community Corporation. The pilot program will enhance DPW cleaning services by hiring residents of this community to clean up their neighborhood. 

The Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) is pleased to announce the official beginning of boating season at Liberty and Prettyboy Reservoirs on Thursday, April 1, 2021. Boat docks at each reservoir will open at sunrise. At Liberty and Prettyboy reservoirs, boating season normally runs through December 31. At Loch Raven Reservoir, boating season will begin on April 2, 2021, and normally runs through the last Sunday in November, with a limited schedule after Labor Day. 

Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Acting Director Matthew W. Garbark reminds residents that Good Friday, April 2, 2021, is a City holiday.  DPW offices and sanitation yards will be CLOSED. There will be no trash or recycling collections on Good Friday. Trash and recycling collections, normally scheduled for Friday, April 2, will be collected on the make-up day, Saturday, April 3.
