DPW Launches “Feet on the Street” Educational Campaign to Reduce Recycling Contamination

DPW is launching the Feet on the Street recycling campaign to educate residents about what items to keep out of their recycling containers, especially plastic bags, films and wraps. Over the next two months, DPW sanitation workers will check and tag recycling containers in neighborhoods where collection crews have observed high contamination. “Oops” Tags Will be Placed on Containers

Mayor Scott Announces Official Launch of Water4All Program

Today, Mayor Brandon M. Scott announced the launch of the Water4All discount program, a new program designed to provide more equitable access to financial assistance for eligible Baltimore City residents who need help paying their water bills. This new water assistance program provides a monthly discount for water and sewer costs based on a percentage of residents’ income.
