DPW Launches Logo Design Contest for Upcoming Cleaner, Greener Baltimore Community Engagement Initiative

DPW Director Jason W. Mitchell announced a logo design contest for DPW’s upcoming Cleaner, Greener, Beautiful-Baltimore campaign, a new community engagement program that the Department plans to launch in September. The Cleaner, Greener, Beautiful- Baltimore campaign is designed to engage the community in DPW’s work to eliminate illegal dumping and reduce blight all around our City, especially in our streets, storm drains and alleyways.

It’s official, the Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) is back outside! Dam Jam is coming back! On Saturday, Aug. 13, please join DPW at the beautiful Lake Montebello to celebrate and learn about the Baltimore region’s drinking water system at Dam Jam 2022!  

DPW Scrap Tire Drop-Off 2022

Baltimore City residents will have an opportunity to get rid of old and unwanted tires at the Residential Scrap Tire Drop-off Event scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 13. The Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) will host the Residential Scrap Tire Drop-Off Event in partnership with the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) and Maryland Environmental Service (MES). This event is intended to provide a free, responsible disposal alternative for residents who have accumulated a small number of scrap tires.
