This in-person meeting will provide an opportunity for residents to receive information about the City's Sanitary Sewer Modified Consent Decree(MCD), a legal agreement between the City of Baltimore, the Federal and State regulators, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Maryland Department of the Environment to address Sanitary Sewer Overflows(SSOs) from the sewer collection system.
The information session will be held at MDE, 1800 Washington Boulevard, Baltimore, MD 21230.

DPW will present the Department's work over the last 12 months to meet the terms and conditions of the MCD. Residents will be able to ask questions following the presentations. The meeting will feature learning stations that will cover topics such as preventive maintenance programs, the Headworks Project, and the Sewage Onsite Support (SOS) Program for backups caused by wet-weather events.
