2024 Sanitary Consent Decree Public Meeting

The Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) held its Seventh Annual Consent Decree Public Information Session on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024. The general session was opened by DPW Interim Director Richard J. Luna. Following his remarks, the Acting Head of DPW’s Bureau of Water and Wastewater Paul Sayan gave a presentation on the Modified Consent Decree for the Sanitary Sewer System and the City’s progress under the Decree over the past 12 months. The Annual Public Meeting is a requirement of the Modified Consent Decree, entered in U.S. District Court on Oct. 6, 2017.
