Application for Redevelopment Waiver
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 3.08 acres and is located at the intersection of Reisterstown Road, Druid Park Drive, Park Heights Avenue. The project will consist of improving the existing intersection of Reisterstown Road, Druid Park Drive and Park Heights Drive.  This work will include roadway streetscape, handicap accessibility, landscaping, stormwater management and utility improvements at the intersection and adjacent side streets. 

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver.  The project will provide one micro-bioretention facility, tree plantings and onsite greening to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.34 acres of impervious area for this project. 

AND

The Applicant will satisfy the remaining water quality controls for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for 0.16 acres of impervious area for this project.
