Application for Qualitative and Redevelopment Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project need not comply with the requirements of the State’s Design Manual for quantity control.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 1.57 acres and is located at the northeast corner of Aisquith Street and Baltimore Street. The project consists of construction of a 6-storey structure and 2-storey underground parking garage. 

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide impervious area treatment to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.429 ac of this project. 

AND

The Applicant has demonstrated that on-site water quality control is not practicable. The Applicant will satisfy the water quality controls for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for 0.137 ac of this project.
