Application for Redevelopment Waiver: Hampton Inn

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 2.40 acres and is located [southwest of the intersection of the Interstate 95 and Maryland 150 (Eastern Ave) interchange, just south of the esiting Firestone and Wawa. The project will consist of ]5 story, 115-room Hampton Inn (hotel) with the associates parking and infrastructure.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide both water quality controls and impervious area reduction to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.60 ac of this project.
