The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for an administrative waiver. If granted, the administrative waiver will allow construction of this project to be governed by the rules and requirements that were in place prior to the Baltimore City Council’s adoption of Ordinance 10-277 on May 3, 2010. The applicant must provide stormwater management for the proposed project whether or not the waiver is granted.

Project Description: |
The project has an approximate area of 0.92 acres and is located in the southeast quadrant of the intersection of West Baltimore Street and South Poppleton Street. The project is part of the University of Maryland Baltimore campus and will consist of an eight-story commercial building with associated sidewalk. The Applicant is requesting an administrative waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-8 of the City Code. The project received preliminary approval before May 4, 2010, and therefore meets the conditions for this waiver.
