Application for Quantitative Control and redevelopment Waiver: MONTEBELLO PLANT 1 IMPROVEMENTS PHASE A – ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a stormwater management waiver.

Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 1.38 acres (Limit of Disturbance) and is located at the following roadway 3901 Hillen Road The project will consist of the following improvements: electrical improvements including: generator, switchgear, substations, and conduit ductbank.

The Applicant is requesting a quantitative and qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code. The Applicant has demonstrated that the 1.09 ac of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative and quantitative controls for 1.09 ac of this project.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide impervious area reduction to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.073ac of this project.
