Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 0.89 acres and is located south at the intersection of Belvidere Street and Greenmount Avenue. The project will consist of the renovation of an existing industrial building to provide artist’s studio and production space, a café, and a community center. The proposed exterior improvements include the redesign of the parking lot and sidewalk layout and installation of a new timber deck and other site furnishings.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide water quality controls, impervious area reduction to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.38 ac of this project.
