Application for Redevelopment Waiver: PHASE 2 DEMOLITION NORTH

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project need not comply with the requirements of the State’s Design Manual for quantity control.

Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 1.45 acres and is bounded by North Washington St. to the west, North Chester St. to the East, East Eager St. to the south and East Chase St. to the north.

The project will consist of demolition of existing row houses to prepare the area for future development.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide impervious area reduction of 1.11 impervious acres to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for the project area.
