Application for Redevelopment Waiver: 400 East Pratt Street Streetscape

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description:

The project has an approximate area of 0.32 acres and is located on the north side of Pratt Street between Commerce and Gay Streets east at the intersection of Commerce Street and East Pratt Street. The project will consist of the reconstruction of concrete sidewalk and building frontage with concrete pavers and a planted bio-retention area.

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide water quality controls to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.13 ac. of this project.
