Proposed Regulations: Customer Service and Support for Water, Wastewater, and Storm Water Billing
The Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) has released proposed rules and regulations to facilitate the implementation of the Water Accountability and Equity Act (WAEA). These draft regulations address customer service and support for water, wastewater, and storm water billing, and focus on resolving water billing disputes.
In addition, DPW has released the following WAEA-related documents:
- Letter from Acting Director Matt Garbark to Chairwoman Sharon Green Middleton to follow-up on the April 30, 2020, informational hearing.
- Dashboard for quick overview of DPW’s progress implementing WAEA.
- Estimated costs to implement WAEA.
