Application for Qualitative Control Waiver
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a Qualitative Control Waiver.

Project Description: | The project has an approximate site area of ±11.78 acres and is located NE of the intersection with Northern Parkway and Metro Drive. The project will consist of construction for a new building addition, drive aisles, parking areas, and new stormwater management facilities…including the remediation of the existing stormwater management facility on site. The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-2(1) of the Baltimore City Code. The limits of disturbance associated with this waiver, 37,750 SF (or 0.867 Ac), is primarily to remediate the existing stormwater management facility (BMP ID: SWM00006-05) to bring it back into compliance with current Baltimore City Department of Public Works standards. A smaller portion of this limits of disturbance is associated with the existing parking lot to the NE corner of the site. In both situations for these combined areas of disturbance, the land disturbed will be returned to predevelopment runoff conditions. The Applicant has also demonstrated that on-site water quality control is not practicable. The Applicant will satisfy the water quality controls for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for [0.102 Ac] of this project.
