Application for Redevelopment and Quality Control Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment and quality control waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 2.08 acres and is located southwest of the intersection of Wyman Park Drive and Sisson Street. The project will consist of the rehabilitation of the existing Vernon Pumping Station including the replacement of various utilities associated with the station.  

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meet the conditions for this waiver.  This project will provide impervious area reduction to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.22 acres of this project

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code. The Applicant has demonstrated that the 1.35 acre project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition.  The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative controls for 1.35 acres of this project.
